Our client sought to create a completely new digital representation of their business. The goal was to design a website that is modern and user-friendly while preserving the company’s established identity to ensure it feels familiar to their loyal customers.

PTP DIS is one of the largest supermarket chains in Serbia, with over 30 years of experience. The company operates more than 50 locations and 170 franchise stores, making it a cornerstone of the retail industry in the region.
What Does It Look Like?
In collaboration with Hominid Studio, we crafted a modern and responsive user interface that works seamlessly across all screen sizes. The design successfully balances the company’s traditional values with a contemporary look, perfectly aligned with the demands of today’s digital landscape.
The Tech Stack
Frontend
The frontend is developed with Next.js, providing a fast, scalable, and SEO-friendly user interface. This ensures the application is responsive and offers an optimal user experience across devices.
Backend
Built using .NET, the backend includes custom integrations with the client’s system API, allowing for seamless data exchange and ensuring that both systems operate in harmony. This integration was designed to handle real-time data syncing and efficient communication between platforms.
Database
PostgreSQL is used as the relational database for efficient data storage and management. Its robust features allow for complex queries and ensure high data integrity, while also supporting scalability as the application grows.
Deployment
The application is deployed on the client’s Windows Server, ensuring that the system runs within their existing infrastructure while providing them with full control over hosting and security.
Problem
Transitioning from one digital era to the next is a significant challenge for large-scale enterprises like PTP DIS. Maintaining the company’s traditional identity while meeting modern digital standards required meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, the integration of various existing systems and databases had to be carefully managed to ensure a smooth transition and ongoing operational efficiency.
Solution
We developed a high-performance web application adhering to the latest standards for exceptional speed and search engine rankings. The user interface, despite handling a large amount of information, is intuitive and easy to navigate.
